Adam Stephenson is an American actor and screenwriter best known for recurring roles in the TV Series Mr. Mercedes and The Purge. He has also appeared in episodes of Atlanta and the popular Netflix series Thirteen Reasons Why. His film credits include Geostorm, Evan's Crime, and Huevos Rancheros for which Adam received a Best Actor Nomination at the Windy City Film Festival. His other festival appearance includes the Toronto Independent Film Fest premiere of director Zack Parker's Proxy.
Born in Baytown, TX and raised in the suburbs of Houston and New Orleans; Adam never lived anywhere for more than a couple years before reaching college.
He has carried that craving for constant change into his career. He is a multi-hyphenate who has supplemented Acting experience with work as a Screenwriter, Casting Assistant, Instructor, and even interned at a Talent Agency.
Adam is a graduate of the Conservatory program at Second City (Chicago). Along with Improvisation, he studied Meisner at Black Box Acting Studio in Chicago and William Esper Studio in New York City.
Adam wrote and produced the short film Huevos Rancheros which has gone on to screen at 10 film festivals World Wide. Garnering 7 Nominations for writing, acting, and dramatic short. With 1 win at the Windy City Film Fest for Indie Spirit Award.
Adam booked a strong supporting role in the upcoming Amblin feature film CARRY ON, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Working opposite Taron Egerton, Theo Rossi, and Jason Bateman.
